Hobo Radio 549 – Big Frito and the Murder Hornets (Hobo Madness Elite 8)
Hobo Radio: A Pop Culture PodcastCOVID-19 has disrupted all of our lives. Movies have been delayed. Toilet paper can’t be found. And all major sporting events have been cancelled. But not even the Coronoavirus can stop our annual Mabel Memorial Hobo Madness Tournament.
This year, Joel Murphy and Lars Periwinkle are joined by Molly Regan, Marty McGuire, Andy McIntyre and, for the first time ever, Julia Periwinkle (Lars’ wife). This year’s tournament pits characters from 30 Rock, Arrested Development, Better Call Saul, Community, Frasier, Girls, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Parks and Recreation against each other to see who would survive the longest during a global pandemic.
This week, they decide the Elite 8 round of the tournament (and get to the bottom of whether or not chips and cheese dip count as nachos).
This week’s music:
- Intro – “Giddy Up” by Tahuna Breaks
- End – “I Got Loaded” by Big Hands Rhythm & Blues Band
